This camper is based on the Chairman conversion on the Mk6 Ford Escort 1.8 diesel. The rear has been fitted out with a U-shaped lounge providing plenty of seating and storage and with the backrest folded flat, it also creates 2 six foot long beds.

There is a central cabinet, in Radiant Red to match the exterior, which houses a portable cooker, heat shield and wicker basket with a 2 person crockery set included.

Lighting is provided by a fixed wall light inside the rear door, ambient LED lighting ribbon on the inner edge of the U-shaped lounge and 2 flexible LED lights that plug in to the two 12 volt cigar type sockets above the cab. These sockets can also power any 12 volt device and charge mobile phones.

There is curtaining to all windows and wipe clean surfaces and flooring throughout.

The fold down ramp at the rear and lowering suspension make for easy access allowing children, elderly or pets to get in and out with minimum hassle. It also makes getting a bike, folded pram or collapsible wheelchair onboard a doddle.

The Popemobile will come with a full MOT, major service and all cam and timing belts changed. Mileage is a staggeringly low 54,701 genuine miles with lots of history.

This is a very economical (50+mpg) vehicle that provides comfy 2 berth accommodation in an easy to drive and park package that could be used as an only vehicle.
